Rolf Hausbentner Band
Rolf Hausbentner Band (R.H.B.) is an Icelandic rock band known for its raunchy guitar sound and powerful live performances. The band was formed in 2021 by bassist Pálmar Guðmundsson. His younger brother, Smári Guðmundsson, plays guitar as well as their uncle Ólafur Þór Ólafsson. Ólafur Ingólfsson plays drums and Ástþór Sindri Baldursson plays keyboards.
Through this time an array of talented musicians have teamed up with the band both live and in the studio — including Fríða Dís Guðmundsdóttir, Grétar Lárus Matthíasson, Hlynur Þór Valsson, Birta Rós Sigurjónsdóttir, Sigfús Örn Óttarsson, Kristinn Hallur Einarsson, Ingi Þór Ingibergsson, Sigurdór Guðmundsson and Björgvin Guðjónsson.
The story so far.
The band released its first tracks in 2021, totaling three songs. In 2023, they followed up with two more singles. On August 1st 2025 the band released it´s first full album titled Out of Reach.
The band is curently working on it´s second studio album to be released in the year 2027.
